St. Louis, incorporated in 1823, is rich in history, landmarks and attractions. It was settled in 1764 as a fur trading post and today has grown to a booming city with a population of nearly 340,000.

This event brought 200,000 visitors on opening day and several permanent structures to the town. The city also experienced a time of growth and tourism in the mid-1960s with the construction of the Gateway Arch and Busch Stadium.

Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals, now has a new state of the art stadium, which opened in 2006.

St. Louis is also home to the Rams football team and the Edward Jones Dome. The Savvis Center is the home of the St. Louis Blues, the local hockey team.

St. Louis City Limits sign St. Louis is also home to several neighborhoods, each having something different to offer to visitors. The Delmar Loop is home to the famous Blueberry Hill music club, restaurant and museum. This attraction offers live music and a monthly performance by Chuck Berry.

Dowtown St. Louis offers The Hill, a region where famous celebrities such as Joe Garagiol and Yogi Berra once roamed. This is still a popular area offering fine dining and attractions. Also downtown in the St. Louis Brewery and Tap Room. The Schlafly Tap Room was the first brew-pub in the state and the menu includes items such as stews, sandwiches and burgers.

St. Louis is also home to more cultural attractions like the Fox Theatre, an ornate theater featuring theater and dance performances. The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra is also a popular attraction. Founded in 1880, the Symphony is recognized internationally as being an ensemble of the highest caliber.

St. Louis offers a wealth of attractions, culture and history, making it an interesting place to live.
